I felt that you were extremely well-prepared and organized. I loved that you were able to do technical things on Zoom like draw on our paintings to give advice. In longer workshops with artists of your caliber, I really appreciate seeing a short segment on artists the instructor admires and why (some I follow and some artists new to me) . I like having a bit of philosophy and background which humanizes the instructor and in some cases provides commonality. I’ve never had that much “homework” before but think it prepared and familiarized us with the recommended products. I thought you provided a good balance of us watching you paint and you critiquing us as we plodded along. I would recommend you in a heartbeat to anyone wanting to paint in a realistic style. And I would welcome the opportunity to learn again from you. Your paintings make me very emotional on so many levels and bring tears to my eyes sometimes. You're thinking about the world, human conditions, what is important and valuable, women’s issues and any kind of discrimination are my touchstones.

I really loved the workshop! It was very good planed, the set up was very exiting, with that I mean the home work we got, the videos you made before hand. I felt «safe» to attend since you had so thorough information about the materials we needed, paint and supply in general. A person with no expirience could attend.

I love the work you do to help and teach others and your art is so enormusly beautiful!!! Just keep up the good work and always bring on your happy, «deep thinking» and harmoius personality! I’m so happy for attending your class, tears up in joy, learnd so much, espc brush use!!! To dry it befor bloopping it on the paper, controling pigment use. How to drybrush without dirtying the picture. Love the sandepaper and so glad you talked about alternativ use of watercolor ground!!!
And you learnd me to be patient of only using the colors you mentiond.
Finally but most important, I stept out of the «box of controll» and let go, not afraid of ruin a picture (always a little) but I can fix it.
