I was recently interviewed by Karen Rivera from Canal 22, a public television channel intended to broadcast about culture at a national level. I talk about my recent trip to China where my painting 'Old Soul' was awarded a 2nd Prize at the "Blue Lake Heaven Qingdao International Spring Art Exhibition" in Qingdao City, China. 

Chinese watercolor art is recognized as no. 1 in the world and it is a great honor to have been the only representative of Latin America at the event and the only woman to receive recognition between more than 180 paintings. Representing my country in this event has been a wonderful experience, because it fills me with pride and encouragement to be able to give a positive image from all the negative stuff happening in my country.

Recientemente fui entrevistada por Karen Rivera de Canal 22, canal de televisión pública destinado a difundir sobre cultura a nivel nacional. Hablo de mi reciente viaje a China, donde mi pintura 'Alma Vieja' fue galardonada con un 2º Premio en “Lake Blue Heaven Qingdao International Spring Art Salon Exhibition” en la ciudad de Qingdao, China.

La acuarela china es reconocida en el medio como la no. 1 en el mundo y es un gran honor haber sido la única representante de Latinoamérica así como obtener el 2do lugar World Glamour Prize con mi acuarela ‘Alma Vieja’ (‘Old soul’) de entre más de 180 pinturas; siendo la única mujer en obtener un reconocimiento. Representar a mi país en dicho evento ha sido una experiencia maravillosa, pues me llena de orgullo poder dar una imagen positiva al exterior dentro de todo lo negativo que sucede en nuestro país.
